Who was San Gennaro
San Gennaro was a bishop of Benevento Lived between the third and fourth centuries. He died a martyr's death in 305 AD during the persecutions of Diocletian. His figure has over time become a symbol of protection for Naples, recognized as the patron saint of the city.
